Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and his top executives are in their sixth year leasing space in a luxury officecomplex in Palm Beach Gardens, an arrangement costing taxpayers at least $420,000 per
year.
The four-year lease at the DiVosta Towers near The Gardens Mall first was inked in December 2019, in advance of a renovation of PBSO's Gun Club Road headquarters in West Palm Beach. The Gun Club Road facility is where Bradshaw and his executives maintained their offices.
But even though the DiVosta Towers lease ended in 2024, Bradshaw and his top leaders remain at the professional office complex, which is home to financial firms, law firms and private banks.
Why did PBSO lease space in this Class A building? Why is PBSO still there? And who is paying for this lease?
A Palm Beach Post investigation explains more about this arrangement, including estimated costs that will span more than $2.5 million.

The article also explains when, if ever, the sheriff might return to county-owned offices, even as Palm Beach County commission members are under pressure from state officials and local residents to cut costs.
