O'Munaciello landed on USA TODAY's 2026 Best Pizza national list for bringing a taste of Naples, Italy to a downtown West Palm Beach restaurant, prompting plenty of readers to ask the obvious question: What should I order?
When reporting the story, I did what any food reporter would do. I showed up hungry with my family and ordered more than we should have.
Between pizzas emerging from the wood-fired oven and dishes rooted in Neapolitan tradition, narrowing the menu to just a few favorites wasn't easy.
Still, weeks later, three items continue to occupy real estate in my brain.
One turns the crust into the star.
Another is a championship pizza that looked even better after a $2 black-dough upgrade.
And because regular readers knowI have a weakness
for anything al limone, the final pick was practically inevitable.
If I returned tomorrow and could order only three dishes, these are the ones I'd choose again without hesitation.
Cornicione Ricotta gourmet pizza

Pillowy, ricotta-stuffed crust makes this pizza memorable long after the last slice disappears.
Las Vegas Pizza

We upgraded to the charcoal-black dough for an extra $2 and would do it again, adding dramatic contrast to this championship pie topped with mozzarella, Piennolo cherry tomatoes, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers and Parmesan.
Pollo al Limone

Bright, silky and deeply comforting, this lemon-kissed chicken dish is exactly the sort of entrée I'll order whenever I see it on a menu.
