At this point in the season, there aren't too many questions around what to expect when the Miami Dolphins host the Kansas City Chiefs. The biggest one doesn't involve the game at all.
At least, not the outcome. The 2-0 Chiefs appear revitalized with a healthy Patrick Mahomes and the NFL's rushing leader in Kenneth Walker. The 0-2 Dolphins, meanwhile, are already on the fast track to the No. 1 overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft in their first year with Malik Willis at quarterback. Their defense has allowed the third-most points in the league through two games.
So what's left to look for in Miami's home opener? How about Taylor Swift, pop music icon and wife to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce? The two got married in July. She's written a song about him.
And she's been on hand for both of her hubby's games entering today.

Granted, those games were home games at Arrowhead Stadium. She was spotted sitting next to Tom Cruise at the home opener. Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce rented home in South Florida
Taylor and Travis were regulars in South Florida earlier this year. A mansion that Kelce rented at the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in Boca Raton served as the couple's South Florida home base during the summer while they were planning their lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden.
The couple also were spotted at the Meat Market steakhouse in Boca Raton, Harry's restaurant in West Palm Beach, Buccan eatery in Palm Beach and sitting in luxury-box seats at a Florida Panthers game in Sunrise. Swift even visited with patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood.
Of course, both have special memories of Hard Rock Stadium. Kelce won his first of three Super Bowl rings there when the Chiefs defeated the 49ers in 2020. Four years later, Swift performed at Hard Rock for three nights on her Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift releases new single 'Patient Zero'
Taylor Swift announced on social media Sept. 22 she has a new single titled "Patient Zero," which is set to release with the new deluxe edition of her latest album "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore" - both of which came out Sept. 25.
The new single is set to release with three different CD covers featuring separate photos of Swift and each cover having different colored trim. There will be three variations of the song, including a piano version and an acoustic version. The album is available on her website for $9.99.
Travis Kelce off to good start with Chiefs
The Chiefs are 2-0 and part of the reason is the return of Mahomes, who has wasted little time finding his favorite target. Kelce has 12 receptions for 172 yards and one TD in the first two weeks.
A 59-yard reception against the Broncos sent him past Jason Witten's 13,046 receiving yards into No. 2 on the all-time tight ends list behind Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez, who holds the all-time tight end record with 15,127 receiving yards.
Will Taylor Swift be at Dolphins vs Chiefs game?
Nothing's set in stone, but it appears unlikely Swift will be on hand at Hard Rock Stadium today. She's more likely in Los Angeles preparing for tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, where she is scheduled to receive the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Award. Soccer star Trinity Rodman stunned fans when she raced from her NWSL match in Washington to catch the end of boyfriend Ben Shelton's match in the U.S. Open final in New York, but a flight from Miami to LA would be tough to make unless she left right at kickoff.
Swift hasn't attended a Chiefs road game since the 2024 AFC championship game in Baltimore, according to People, and the last time she went to a game that wasn't in Kansas City was for Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.
