The 2026 PGA Tour season comes down to 18 holes at East Lake Golf Club. The final round of the Tour Championship promises to be a good one.
Ryan Gerard and Viktor Hovland, leaders heading into the third round, will be the final pairing again on the final day in Atlanta. Seeking his second FedEx Cup after winning the grand prize in 2023, Hovland birdied the last two holes in Round 3 to take a one-shot lead. Gerard has just one PGA Tour win to his name, the 2025 Barracuda Championship that used Modified Stableford scoring, and is making his Tour Championship debut.
Eight others are within five strokes. Money leader Scottie Scheffler, Chris Gotterup, Ludvig Åberg and Adam Scott enter the final round two strokes behind Hovland, while three-time Tour
Championship winner Rory McIlroy and Cameron Young are right behind them. Day 1 leader Min Woo Lee played himself into back into position as well, tied for ninth with Russell Henley, Sam Burns and Jacob Bridgeman.
