Delray Medical Center CEO Heather Havericak praised the governing board’s diverse expertise and dedication to the hospital’s mission.

The board’s leadership is designed to ensure the hospital continues to strengthen outcomes, expand access and support the health and well-being of the community it serves, the announcement said.
Delray Medical Center serves southern Palm Beach County
Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital that has served southern Palm Beach County for more than 40 years. The hospital is both a community hospital and a state-designated Level I Trauma Center, offering specialized services including cardiac and vascular care, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care and weight-loss surgery.
The Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state-designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county, according to the announcement. The hospital also includes the Fair Oaks Pavilion, a 53-bed adult psychiatry unit.
