The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has announced four additions to its fall schedule. The lineup includes a sensory-inclusive performance of “The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System,” a live concept album by Sons of Town Hall, the immersive dance spectacle MOMIX: Botanica and a concert by jazz gospel singer Emma Nissen.

Family Fare Series opens with ‘The Magic School Bus’
The Family Fare Series will kick off with TheaterWorksUSA’s “The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System,” a sensory-inclusive performance at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Rinker Playhouse. The musical adaptation is based on the book series published by Scholastic.
In the story, Ms. Frizzle and her class blast into outer space for an interplanetary field trip, where the students must learn to work together to avoid getting lost in the solar system.

Sons of Town Hall brings transatlantic folk
On Nov. 10, Sons of Town Hall will bring their transatlantic duo to the Rinker Playhouse. The performance is described as a part-live concept album, part performance art, featuring songs and stories set in a mythic universe. The show begins at 7 p.m., and tickets start at $49.45, including fees.
MOMIX: Botanica offers surreal dance spectacle
MOMIX: Botanica will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The production is described as a journey through nature’s ever-changing imagery, featuring athletic performances, gravity-defying props and cinematic projections. The score ranges from birdsong to the music of Vivaldi. Tickets start at $46, including fees.
Emma Nissen to perform jazz gospel
Emma Nissen will close out the series with a performance at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Rinker Playhouse. Nissen is known for her modern, jazzy gospel style, which combines soul, improvisation and spirituality. Her talent has drawn attention from artists such as Lauren Daigle, SZA and Queen Latifah. Tickets start at $49.45.
