Forty-seven women from across Palm Beach and northern Broward counties will be honored for their volunteer work at the 39th Annual Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon.
The event, hosted by the Junior League of Boca Raton, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Nov. 5 at The Boca Raton, 501 E. Camino Real. The luncheon will include a runway fashion show.
The nominees were selected by nonprofit organizations for their dedication and impact in the community.
“We are excited to honor these 47 outstanding women,” Junior League President Melody Cobbe said in an announcement. “Their volunteer work sets the standard for community service.”
The nominees represent a wide range of organizations, including Boca Helping Hands, Special Olympics Florida and Habitat for Humanity
of Greater Palm Beach County.

Tandy Robinson has been named honorary chair, and Linda Paton and Victoria Matthews will serve as event co-chairs.
The presenting sponsor is the Junior League of Boca Raton’s 1971 Society. The award presentation sponsor is The Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute and Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation. The Boca Raton is the fashion show sponsor and Boca Magazine is the media sponsor.
