The Miami Dolphins might have their work cut out for them today against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, but they won't be lining up against Justin Jefferson, one of the best talents in the game.

He was seen on the sidelines with medical trainers throughout the first half before being ruled out at halftime.Jefferson has been one of the NFL's most explosive players since entering as the No. 22 overall pick out of LSU in 2020. He has been a first-team All-Pro twice and has made four Pro Bowls, hauling in 592 catches for 8,659 yards and 44 touchdowns. Is Justin Jefferson playing today?
No. Jefferson was ruled out on Friday's injury report with a sprained left ankle suffered in a 23-16 loss in Tampa last week.

Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said after last week's game that Jefferson tried to work through the injury and "got close a couple times" before being ruled out. He called it a relatively mild injury throughout the week despite Jefferson not practicing and said he could return Oct. 11 against the New Orleans Saints.
