A luxury waterfront community is coming to the Jupiter area in a location that once belonged to the U.S. Air Force.
In the 1940s, the peninsula-shaped property on the Intracoastal Waterway, in Martin County just north of the Tequesta border, was used to land military seaplanes.
Since then, many have tried again and again to buy the parcel and get it permitted for development — but no one was able to do it until Marius Fortelni entered the scene.
Now, the Forté Luxe community at 12450 Crystal Cove Place, once completed, will feature 15 multilevel waterfront condominiums and private boat docks.
Each condo includes private garages, interior elevators, designer kitchens, outdoor terraces with gas grills and more. Prices range from $3.98 million to $8
million.
Fortelni has more than 40 years of international real estate development, spanning from Saudi Arabia to New York — Manhattan and the Hamptons, specifically.
In 2016 he made the move south to Palm Beach County, and construction on his new community is set to finish by December.
"It's truly one of the most beautiful spots anywhere. There's nothing like this in California or anywhere else," Fortelni said. "You have blue water like the Bahamas. You have a wide view open to the north."
