St. Thomas Aquinas (Class 5A), American Heritage (4A) and Miami Central (3A) all are unanimous No. 1 selections heading into Week 1.

Venice (6A), Chaminade-Madonna (2A) and Carrollwood Day (1A) all remained No. 1 in their respective classes, but by a narrow margin.
Venice received five first-place votes, while DeLand picked up four and Vero Beach had one.
Chaminade-Madonna, which routed Norland in the preseason, got six first-place
votes; Carol City picked up the other four following its 24-23 overtime win at West Boca.
Class 1A saw four teams pick up first-place votes. It's the first time in four teams in a single class received first-place votes in a USA Today Super 10 poll. Carrollwood Day got six, Trinity Christian got one but received the most second-place votes, Hawthorne had two and True North also got a first-place vote.
