PopStroke, Tiger Woods' family-friendly golf and dining venue, is trying to be friendlier to people's wallets.
The company recently rolled out new pricing deals for people aged 60 and above. For $100, seniors can play unlimited mini-golf all day and into the evening, 365 days a year.
The specials are a departure from PopStroke's regular day pass prices, which still apply to people between the ages of 13 and 59.
A visit to PopStroke's Delray Beach costs $25 for a day pass from Monday through Thursday, and $30 a day from Friday through Sunday, according to the company website.
In addition, children 12 and under who visit with their own day pass eat free, and children 12 and under can be added to any adult PopStroke annual membership for $20 per month.
The West Palm Beach location costs $30 for a day pass seven days a week. Annual members pay a lower price for the day passes.
Other locations nationwide have different pricing, according to PopStroke's website.
PopStroke is the creation of Greg Bartoli, a former investment banker who moved to Florida several years ago.
The tech-heavy, mini-golf venue was designed to reflectthe increasingly upscale orientation of businesses throughout Palm Beach County, whether it's private clubs, hotels, office buildings and shopping centers.
But in an Oct. 19 interview, Bartoli acknowledged that inflation, higher gas prices and other rising costs have changed the climate for PopStroke and other entertainment venues. With 22 locations across the country, Bartoli sees how some customers are reeling.
The higher cost of living particularly affects seniors on a fixed or limited income, he said.
“A huge portion of our guests are over 60," said Bartoli, PopStroke's chief executive.
With PopStroke's new membership program, Bartoli said he expects the venue will be "a tremendous value" for senior customers on a date night, a visit with friends or an outing with grandchildren.
"We hope to build a community around the 60-and-over guests," Bartoli said, especially since people are more active in their older years than they ever have been. "We want to be an affordable place."
Of course, by bringing more people to the golf and restaurant venues at PopStroke, Bartoli hopes customers will also buy a meal or a drink during the visit.
What is PopStroke?
PopStroke takes the old concept of mini-golf and elevates it into a high-tech experience that is heavy on perks, plus food and drink.
The company has locations in West Palm Beach and Delray Beach, plus eight others in Florida. There also are 12 other locations outside of Florida, including in Texas, Nevada and South Carolina.
The Delray Beach location at 1314 N. Federal Highway opened in November 2023.
But the company went all out with its second Palm Beach County location in West Palm Beach at 2429 Perimeter Rd., near President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
The West Palm Beach flagship facility, which opened in December 2024, cost nearly $20 million to build.
It has two artificial turf mini-golf courses set amid tropical landscaping, outdoor lighting and misting fans. The venue also features a children's playground, a restaurant, six bars, and six 24-foot-by-13-foot jumbotron video screens that display leaderboards and sports games.
This PopStroke location also has the most extra of touches: A 21 and older VIP lounge, featuring a swimming pool and bar.
The luxury VIP membership lounge is on the second story overlooking the courses.
Plans are to bring in a Nobu-quality sushi chef to the second story lounge. The pool also has been upgraded into a Moroccan-inspired destination, while also featuring Mediterranean food for poolside diners, Bartoli said.
Bartoli, who is partners with Woods and TaylorMade golf in the venture, said he's tried to create a lively atmosphere for everyone, akin to a backyard party. But he knows the party is getting pricey.
"Everything is through the roof, especially in South Florida ... whether it's gas prices or grocery prices," he said. "There's the Palm Beach island crowd, and then there's the rest of the universe that is getting squeezed."
This includes families who not only have to contend with everyday costs but also have to shoulder rising costs for youth sports and other children's activities, he added.
PopStroke by day and by night
During the day, children and families can play golf or enjoy other games, such as cornhole. In addition to a family-friendly restaurant, there's also an ice cream parlor.
At night, PopStroke's dramatic lighting creates the scene for gatherings of friends and professionals. Bartoli said PopStroke also hosts a number of corporate and team-building events.
Key to the PopStroke experience is the blending of sports with technology.
Guests must download an app to play golf at PopStroke. The app allows players to update their scores on the jumbotron leaderboards. Guests also can order drinks, which are delivered by servers to the customer's exact spot on the (mini) greens.
Why Bartoli created PopStroke

Bartoli is a mini-golf aficionado and developed the Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf course in Jupiter. But Bartoli said he still yearned for a golf venue where he could bring his three children and enjoy some adult me-time.
When he created PopStroke in 2018, he made sure to include play areas and playgrounds along with sports bars and television sets.
Bartoli opened PopStroke's first location in Port St. Lucie in 2019, then brought on Woods, who lives in Jupiter Island, as a co-owner in 2020. Woods' TGR Design redid the Port St. Lucie course. TaylorMade joined as a partner in 2023.
