MIAMI GARDENS – Third-round draft pick Chris Bell, a receiver, practiced on a limited basis as the Miami Dolphinsreturned to the practice field Monday, Aug. 17.
Bell, coming off a knee injury, was activated off the non-football injury list earlier in the day.

Bell wore a red, non-contact No. 18 jersey and spent much of the time watching 11-on-11 drills, although he did catch a few balls from quarterbacks while running patterns in individual drills.

- Chop Robinson sacked Malik Willis.
- Willis, with plenty of time, hit Greg Dulcich over the middle.
- Lonnie Johnson Jr. had a pass break-up vs. Cam Miller.
- Miles Battle broke up a pass from Mark Gronowski.
- Michael Taaffe continued a good run for the secondary with a break-up on a Willis pass.
- Robinson sacked Willis.
- Willis hit Caleb Douglas over the middle.
- Miller nearly gifted an interception to Marco Wilson, who couldn't hang onto the low pass.
- Miller and Ollie Gordon connected on a good catch-and-run down the sideline.
- Miller and AJ Henning connected on a long TD after Henning slipped behind Louis Moore.
- Dulcich dropped a pass from Willis.
- Willis hit Douglas for 17 yards.
- Robinson sacked Willis.
- Miller hit Tahj Washington on a post pattern for a TD against Alex Austin to end practice.
- Gronowski was brought back following the groin injury to backup QB Quinn Ewers.
- Players either working on the side or not at all included Zach Sieler, Jordyn Brooks, Ben Sims, JuJu Brents, Storm Duck and Kenneth Grant. Dante Trader did individual drills.
