Week 2 of the Florida high school football season is winding down and a picture of Palm Beach County teams is starting to develop.
Scores rolled in from around the county and the rest of the state Friday night as programs took another step in their pursuit of district titles and state championship aspirations. While some teams continued strong starts to the season, others looked to rebound from Week 1 setbacks and establish themselves as contenders.
The play of the night is obvious: Trailing 14-10 in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Pahokee completed a Hail Mary touchdown to stun Royal Palm Beach as time expired.
