The Miami Dolphins claimed seven players off the waiver wire Monday, Aug. 31, including three defensive backs and a quarterback.
They now must making corresponding moves to remain under the 53-man limit.

Breaking down which players were claimed:
The list includes quarterback Brady Cook, formerly of the New York Jets, giving them three quarterbacks on the roster after temporarily being down to just Malik Willis over the weekend. The Dolphins also traded for Green Bay’s Kyle McCord.
Cook, 24, has completed 88 of 153 passes in his career for 739 yards and two touchdowns but has suffered seven interceptions and 19 sacks for a passer rating of 55.4.
Cook played in the Jets’ 34-10 loss to the Dolphins in December. He
completed 14 of 30 passes for 163 yards but was intercepted twice and sacked six times.
The Dolphins claimed three defensive backs: Marcellas Dial of New England, Reese Taylor of Denver and Julius Wood of Dallas.
Two tackles were claimed: Chukwuebuka Godrick of Kansas City and Jarrett Kingston of Houston.
And tight end Justin Joly of Denver was claimed.
