Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio will unveil a new coaster, the largest single-attraction investment in park history, in 2027, coinciding with the park's 35th anniversary.
Officials with the park broke ground on Wednesday, Aug. 26, on Werewolf Gorge, the world's future longest family launch coaster, in an area of the park that has not been used before.
Werewolf Gorge will stretch an unprecedented 4,120 feet, making it both the world's longest family launch coaster and the longest roller coaster ever built at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The immersive attraction will combine four launches, a midcourse rollback, and story-driven adventure inspired by Texas legends.

"This groundbreaking represents much more than the start of construction," said Robert
Bustle, park manager of Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in an email. "Werewolf Gorge is the largest single-attraction investment in our park's history and a significant investment in the future of tourism in Texas. This record-breaking coaster will deliver an experience families can't find anywhere else while reinforcing Six Flags Fiesta Texas as a destination for visitors from across the United States and beyond."
