Train horns, speeders. Who’s in charge?
I live in the Five Points area. Back in the early 2000s a No Horn area was instituted, barring the railroad from using (its) horn except in the case of emergencies. Also, a speed limit was put in place for traversing the short distance, again to keep the noise down. Lately, the trains are blowing their horns indiscriminately and many travel at a high rate of speed
Who is in charge of making sure the agreements are followed?

Voters, show up, make smart choices
The health and safety of our nation have never been at greater risk during my lifetime than it is now. I urge all El Paso voters to get to the polls this fall. It is incumbent on all voters to research the candidates. Two candidates who are frightening to me campaigned in El Paso on Wednesday. Research
Senator Cornyn’s comments on the Trump-endorsed candidate. Cornyn’s comments were truthful and yet the Republicans voted for a man who only serves himself.
For those El Pasoans who live in Texas's 23rd Congressional District, you must see Brandon Herrera, the “AK-guy,” for who he is. Research him on reliable sites and publications. I remind you all that the El Paso Walmart and Uvalde Robb Elementary mass shootings are two of the worst in U.S.A.’s history. This man, if he wins, will represent the gerrymandered 23rd district from west San Antonio to east El Paso. Please research these and other candidates.
We cannot continue to allow allegiance to any party over reasonable representation for our citizens. Cornyn showed his allegiance to Texans when he voted for gun reform after the Walmart shooting. And he was crucified by the Republican Party for that vote. He did the right thing for humanity, caring more for people than guns.
My hope is that we have 100% turnout in this upcoming election with voters making smart choices.
