Oscar-winning "One Battle After Another"continues to rack up accolades, and its latest honor recognizes the locations that helped bring the thriller to life.
The Location Managers Guild International announced the film as the winner of the "Outstanding Locations in a Contemporary Feature" award during a ceremony on Aug 22.
The awards honored the "outstanding use of filming locations across motion pictures, television, commercials, film commissions, and special achievement categories," LMGI said in anews release.
"One Battle After Another" was shot in several areas, including California’s Humboldt County, Sacramento, Stockton, Eureka, Arcata, and San Diego. El Paso also served as a major filming location for the movie.

Commission posted about the win on Facebook and wrote, "From the big screen to the national stage, El Paso continues to prove it has what it takes to be a premier destination for filmmakers."
The action-thriller film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio del Toro, contributed nearly $6 million in direct spending in El Paso, according to a news release from Destination El Paso, the city's marketing organization. The movie was filmed for 18 days in May and June 2024, leading to many local sightings of DiCaprio and del Toro, including the pair dining and filming in Downtown.
Television Series winners also included "Pluribus," which was filmed in nearby Albuquerque, New Mexico, as well as in Montana, Nevada, and Spain.
