A week and a half ago, the Los Angeles Rams were solidly favored to win the Super Bowl while the New York Giants were considered an eventual sub-.500 team.
How much that changed in Week 1 will be revealed in the weeks to come, but the reality going into Week 2’s Monday Night Football is that the Rams are coming off a humiliating loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Australia while the Giants’ Jaxson Dart-led offense looked outstanding against Dallas.
The oddsmakers don’t think that means much as the Rams come in as a seven-point favorite to protect their home field in the last game of Week 2.
