A new housing opting is coming to Northeast El Paso.
Helmut Apartments is planning to build a small apartment complex on Atlas Avenue.

Nationally, the need for apartments has been on the rise for several reasons, including rising home payments and rents, a lag in the supply of new homes and shifts in demographics and market trends.
Where is it?
The new apartment complex will be located at 4707 Atlas Avenue in Northeast El Paso, according to
the city's permit and licensing page.
The site is located in a largely residential area a few blocks off of Dyer Street. The site is just across the street from Garabatos Learning Center and Daycare and only blocks away from Sunrise Mountain Elementary School, Flores Meat Market and Matsuharu Japanese Restaurant.
What was there before?
The new apartment complex is being built on a currently vacant lot that most likely once hosted a residential home.
Plans call for the construction of a two-story apartment complex with eight units.
Who is the contractor?
The licensed professional and applicant for the project is Celso Valdez of Valdez Construction in El Paso.
The city's site does not include the project's value.
