Banana Ball, known for its fast-paced rules and lively atmosphere, will return to El Paso in 2027 with the Texas Tailgaters playing the Party Animals. The El Paso dates will be June 18-19 at Southwest University Park.
The Party Animals debuted in 2020 as rivals to the Savannah Bananas and have since become a fan favorite on the Banana Ball World Tour. The Texas Tailgaters joined the Banana Ball Championship League (BBCL) in 2025 and recently claimed the inaugural Banana Bowl championship.
The Banana Ball YouTube channel announced the 2027 schedule on Thursday, Oct. 15. For 2027, the world tour will add two countries — Canada and Mexico.
This year, El Pasoans got a taste of Banana Ball when the Texas Tailgaters swept their two-game series against
the Firefighters in May at Southwest University Park. Both games were sold-out events.
