Oxxo, Mexico's largest convenience store brand, is gearing to open seven more stores in late October in El Paso.

As part of its strategy to grow in the United States, Oxxo is also converting seven stores previously operated under the Delek brand.

"These openings affirm the company’s commitment to offering customers a renewed experience in convenience, service, and quality in the El Paso market," stated Derek Gaskins, Vice President, Marketing & Category Management, CCO.

Oxxo's parent company, FEMSA, completed the $385 million purchase in 2024 of 249 DK stores in Texas, including 77 in El Paso, about 25 in New Mexico and in Arkansas, from Delek US Holdings, the Tennessee-based oil refiner.

Through a long-term fuel supply partnership, customers will

continue to find DK Fuel at the pump at many OXXO locations.
