El Pasoans can expect to see an increase in law enforcement action at Cielo Vista Mall as the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office conducts a training exercise.
The training exercise will be from 4 to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Cielo Vista Mall located at 8401 Gateway West Blvd. in East El Paso, sheriff's office spokeswoman Priscilla I. Contreras said in a news release.
"Members of the public may notice an increased law enforcement presence and emergency vehicles in the area during this time," the news release states. "This is a planned training exercise, and there is no threat to the public."
