The first Teso Life merchandise store will open later this year at the formerGold's Gym building, at 12261 Eastlake Blvd. in Eastlake Commons.
The opening of Teso Life is part of the trend of growth in Asian retail stores in El Paso, alongside businesses such as Daiso and Miniso.
The store is known for several popular items, including Asian snacks, skincare, toys and collectibles. For those who like Asian snacks, it might be the place to try different Kit Kats. Japanese Kit Kat flavors include matcha, strawberry cheesecake, hojicha (Japanese roasted green tea), purple sweet potato, and banana caramel.

Teso Life will take up the 22,800-square-foot building, formerly a Gold's Gym that opened in 2023 but closed unexpectedly in April 2025.
The retailer
has stores in other parts of Texas, including San Antonio, Houston, Frisco, Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth.
The expected completion date is Nov. 1, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
