Pull out those vintage rock T-shirts, ladies! Grammy Award-winning singer Rick Springfield, known for Jessie's Girl, will perform at Sunland Park Casino on Friday, Sept. 18.
Springfield has spent more than four decades on the charts with fan favorites including "I've Done Everything for You," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "Affair of the Heart," "Human Touch," and "Love Somebody."
The show will be outside at Sunland Park Casino’s Turf Club with VIP table seating also available. This is the first concert in Sunland Park Casino as it relaunches ticketed entertainment.
Mexican ranchera singer Alejandro Fernandez returns to El Paso for a concert on Saturday at the Don Haskins Center.
And El Pasoans can also celebrate Greek food and culture, including music
and dancing at the 33rd Annual Greek Food Fest this weekend at the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on the Westside.

DJ Diesel, also known as Shaquille O'Neal, will be coming to El Paso in September as part of a Texas tour. Shaq will be mixing music Thursday, Sept. 17, at 11:11, a music venue at 9740 Dyer St. Doors will open at 9 p.m. Tickets available at discopresents.com
Rick Springfield at Sunland Park Casino
Rock legend Rick Springfield will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Sunland Park Casino's Turf Club, 1200 Futurity Drive. General admission tickets are $27.50, while Turf Club Premium seats, which include table service, bars, and a limited restaurant menu, are $70 per seat and available at sunland-park.com.
Deadmau5 at The Elmont
One of electronic music’s biggest names, Deadmau5, will take over The Elmont Swim Club at 240 W. Castellano Drive on Friday, Sept. 18. General admission tickets are sold out. However, there is a limited number of VIP Cocktail Table or cabana tickets available.
Each cabana reservation includes six VIP tickets, with more available for purchase upon request. Each VIP Cocktail Table includes four VIP tickets. To reserve a cabana or VIP Cocktail Table for Deadmau5, email vip@theelmont.com.
Deorro takes over The Elmont with special guest, Bolo, on Sunday, Sept. 20. Doors open at 2 p.m. For ages 21 and older. Tickets available at elmontsocial.com.
Alejandro Fernandez
Ranchera and pop singer Alejandro Fernandez will pay tribute to his father, Vicente Fernandez, with his De Rey a Rey Tour. The tour will include a performance at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Don Haskins Center.

33rd Annual Greek Food Fest
Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church invites the community to the 33rd Annual Greek Food Fest, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 18-20, at 124 S. Festival Drive. Hours will be 5-10 p.m. Friday, 12-10 p.m. Saturday, and 12-6 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for active-duty military and veterans with valid military ID, and children 12 and under are free. Doro (Greek for gift) pre-package is $20 and includes admission plus $20 in food/drink value.
La Viña Harvest Wine Festival
The Harvest Wine Festival at La Viña Winery will include music and food from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20, at 4201 S. Highway 28, Anthony, N.M. General admission is $30 or two for $40 plus fees, available at lavinawinery.com.
El Paso Chihuahuas close home season this weekend
The El Paso Chihuahuas will bring the final Bootmakers Night to Southwest University Park on Saturday, Sept. 19, in collaboration with Lucchese. Fans can bid in the Bootmakers Jersey Auction and stay after the 6:35 p.m. game for a fireworks spectacular. An Oscar Health T-Shirt giveaway is also featured that night.
The Chihuahuas will close the home season at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, with Kids Day, a farewell to the 2026 season at Southwest University Park. Tickets and additional homestand information are available at epchihuahuas.com.
Sin Bandera
The Latin duo Sin Bandera will bring its Escenas Tour to El Paso with a performance at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the El Paso County Coliseum. Tickets starting at $70.94 plus fees are available at Ticketmaster.com.
El Paso Symphony Orchestra begins with celebration of Mexico
The El Paso Symphony Orchestra's 2026-2027 classical series will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 18-19, at the Plaza Theatre.
The program will celebrate Mexico, featuring groundbreaking photography of its beautiful people and places, captured by Nicholas Bardonnay of Westwater Arts. The stunning visuals will be accompanied by the music of Marquez's Danzon No. 2 and Moncayo's Tierra de Temporal, projected on a big digital screen. Tickets ranging from $15 to $52 plus fees are available at epso.app.getcuebox.com.
Chuco Relic to celebrate 915 on Sunday, Sept. 20
Chuco Relic, a local El Paso store, will celebrate 915 Day from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at 3750 Gateway Blvd. East with more than 40 vendors. The store will give away 100 free limited-edition shirts, thanks to Raiz FCU. People are encouraged to bring a tote and staff will print on site.
The event will also feature four live bands, including Headless Chickens, Lucha Libre, and Reliquia, with shirts for $5. There will be a $9.15 off sale on all tees.
