Yet another longtime restaurant has shuttered, adding to the growing list of local establishments that have recently closed.
Melting Pot of El Paso announced on its Facebook page Monday, Sept. 28, that it was closing its doors for good.
"After many memorable years, Melting Pot of El Paso closed its doors on Monday, September 28, 2026. As our 10-year agreements with both our landlord and franchisor come to an end, we have made the difficult decision not to renew or extend either agreement," the post stated.
"To our employees, guests, and everyone who supported us along the way, thank you. We are sincerely grateful for every reservation, every celebration, and every memory you shared with us. It has been an honor to serve the El Paso community."
The Melting Pot is at the Fountains of Farah. The last restaurant closure at this shopping center was Chuy's in 2025. The building remains vacant.

Diners with Melting Pot gift cards are advised that they can be used nationwide at any location.
In recent days, other establishments, including International Bar, Muttz Canine Social Club, and Whiskey Dick's,announced they were closed.
