A new hotel is coming to El Paso's West Side.
Kishor Koladia, managing partner of the Dallas-based hotel firm Chanakya Management, is bringing yet another hotel to El Paso.
The new hotel follows an East Side hotel near the Amazon fulfillment center that opened in February 2025.
Where is it?
The new hotel from Koladia will be located at 161 Vin Salou Way in West El Paso, according to the city's permit and licensing page.
The new hotel is located
in a largely undeveloped area near the Elmont Swim Club and Evaga Desert Kitchen. Not far from the site are The View at Montecillo Apartments and Teapioca Lounge off Montecillo Boulevard.
What was there before?
The new hotel is being built atop a currently vacant lot.
The city's website does not provide details on the size of the new hotel or how many rooms it will include. Likewise, it does not specify what type of hotel is being built.
Who is the contractor?
The licensed professional for the project is Himalaya Builders LLC of Clint, Texas. The applicant for the project is Koladia and Del Rio West in El Paso, the same company listed as the owner.
The project is valued at $7 million.
