Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico is returning to El Paso only days before Election Day.
Talarico's campaign announced its "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts" tour Friday, Oct. 16, which will bring his message to voters in 20 cities across Texas leading up to Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when he will face Republican Ken Paxton for a chance to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.
The tour kicks off Sunday, Oct. 18, in Plano, and ends on Monday, Nov. 2, in Austin. The tour will hit El Paso on Monday, Oct. 26, marking Talarico's fourth stop in the Borderland since announcing his U.S. Senate campaign in September 2025.
“Texans are tired of being divided into teams — red versus blue, left versus right, rural versus urban,” Talarico said in a news
release. “That’s why we’re traveling across the state to unite working people onto one team. I encourage Texans across the political spectrum to join us at one of our stops as we work to defeat the politics of division.”
The tour's name comes from the Texas football classic "Friday Night Lights," in which players commonly used the phrase, "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose."

Paxton held a rally in El Paso on Wednesday, Sept. 30, but has not yet announced plans to return before the General Election.
