The first high school football games across El Paso and Texas are nearly here, with games starting Aug. 27-28.
The regular season consists of 10 games and to win a state title in each of the six classes in Texas, teams must win an additional six games in the playoffs,
El Paso has 31 teams, which play a full slate of regular season and 29 of them play in Classes 4A, 5A and 6A.

Offense
Brycen Booth, QB, El Dorado
Was very good as a junior in 2025 and threw the winning touchdown in playoff win vs. Amarillo High.
Maurice Edwards, All-Purpose, Americas
Edwards can do it all for the Trailblazers an d will likely be one of the most dynamic players in El Paso.
Angel Dominguez, QB, Bel Air
Dominguez will be a leader and major playmaker for the Highlanders under first-year coach Ariel Famaligi.
Jordan Morales, QB, Hanks
Morales is a leader for the Knights and has improved every year in
high school.
Corwon Martin, WR, Chapin
Will be one of the most productive players in El Paso.
Defense
Jose Bustamante, DL, El Dorado
Bustamante is one of the top playmakers in the city on the defensive line.
Izaiah Amaro, LB, Americas
Amaro will be a leader on a defense, that is often times one iof the best in the city.
Didrick Acosta, LB, Del Valle
Acosta will be a major leader on defense for the conquistadores.
Davion Arnette, LB, Jefferson
A two-way standout for the Silver Foxes and he may be one of the most underrated players in El Paso. Also plays quarterback on offense.
Joziah Cardona, DB, Canutillo
One of the major leaders on a defense, which is expected to well.
