Who got caught up in the Dallas Cowboys final cuts? Who could come back?

The Cowboys cut 35 players do get down to the 53-player regular-season roster limit, a list of hopefuls that included their Navajo guard Shiyazh Pete and surprisingly tailback Jaydon Blue.

Starting at 11 a.m. MT/noon CT on Monday, Aug. 31 the Cowboys can sign 16 of these players to their practice squads. They are free agents immediately, so theoretically any team in the league could add them to their 53-player roster or sign them to their practice squads.

Here is who was a final cut, along with those who are projected (PS) as potential practice squad additions.

Running backs

Cuts: Jaydon Blue, Israel Abanikanda, Phil Mafah, Jashaun Corbin

Potential practice squad players

Each team can keep 16 practice squads players, plus a 17th from the international pathway (Dallas didn’t have any of those on their 90-player training camp roster but they could grab one from another team). Here are 18 players who were just cut by Dallas who could be candidates to be added at 11 a.m. MT/noon Central Monday, Aug. 31.
