The
Del Valle High School volleyball team continues to show improvement in 2026.
On Tuesday, Sept. 1, the visiting Conquistadores held off a tough challenge from Canutillo in three sets, 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.
In all three sets, Del Valle built large leads only to see Canutillo rally and close the gap. But every time, the Eagles rallied, Del Valle was able to find a way to win each set.
Del Valle was the District 2-5A champion in 2025 and will be a favorite to win again this season. Tuesday's win improved Del Valle's record to 13-9.
