Las Cruces junior middleweight Ariana Carrasco will look to continue her early success in the professional boxing world.
The 23-year-old Carrasco will aim for her fourth win in as many fights when she faces pro debuter Angelica Flores in a four-round fight at 154 pounds on Friday, Oct. 2, at the El Paso County Coliseum.
Carrasco will step into ring for the third time in three consecutive months, just three weeks after defeating Jozette Cotton by way of unanimous decision on Sept. 11 in Hidalgo, Texas.

A decorated, former amateur champion who competed in over 80 amateur fights, Carrasco is quickly establishing herself on the professional circuit as a strong counterpuncher with good ring smarts.
For Flores, a 27-year-old native of Chandler, Ariz.,
the matchup with Carrasco will mark a return to boxing after a short run in MMA that Flores decided to pursue because of a lack of fight opportunities for women just a few years ago.
