The first monster non-conference game of the 2026 college football season arrives in Week 2 when No. 1 Ohio State travels to Austin as a slight underdog to take on No. 4 Texas in a rematch of last year’s season-opening Buckeye win.
A week after its controversial escape against Western Michigan, Michigan hosts No. 11 Oklahoma as a home underdog, a game pitting a Sooner team coming off a win against UTEP against a Wolverine team that plays UTEP next week.
Meanwhile, No. 10 Texas A&M plays another power conference team when they host Arizona State at Kyle Field.
