Paso's iconic Scenic Drive is closed after it was damaged during heavy storms that hit the Borderland.
The well-known road that provides a view of most of El Paso and Juárez was closed in both directions after rain caused severe damage, El Paso Police Department officials said in a Facebook post.
A photo shows a large sinkhole near one rock wall that separates the road from the mountain. The road is closed "until further notice," police said. They are asking drivers to avoid the area for their safety.
