Usheris headed to the Sun City alongside Chris Brown for their R&B Tour, but could fans spot the music superstars around El Paso before the show?
Usher shared an Instagram video Oct. 2 showing himself golfing
in the rain, prompting some speculation that he may already be in the El Paso area. But the desert backdrop appeared to look a little more like Arizona — especially with saguaro cacti visible in the background, which are not native to El Paso.
Usher recently performed in Arizona on Sept. 29.
“I’m singing in the rain, I’m swinging in the rain,” Usher sang as he prepared to take a shot.
Fans tried to pinpoint what golf course he could be at.
"Wait !!! Usher is in EL PASO!!!!!!? ALREADY??!!!! ANSWER ME PEOPLE," one fan wrote.
Another replied, "No it’s Arizona. Check his stories, we don’t have cacti like that."
It’s unclear exactly where the video was filmed, but Usher, if you’re looking to squeeze in another round while you’re in El Paso, the Sun City has plenty of golf courses to choose from.
Chris Brown and Usher will bring their R&B Tour to the Sun Bowl Stadium at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Concert tickets are still available at the UTEP Box Office and via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets in front of the pit start at $512.40 plus fees. Standard tickets are also available for $99.95 plus fees.
