Tempting Lu and Jess A Bad Lil Cat have been scratched from the 2026 All American Futurity, New Mexico Racing Commission Executive Director Izzy Trejo confirmed.
The two horses were veterinarian-listed scratches according to Trejo.
The two scratches leave the field for the $3 million, 440-yard All American at eight for now. The All American Futurity is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 7 at the Downs at Albuquerque.
The All American Futurity is the richest quarter horse race in the world.
Tempting Lu drew the No. 4 post in the All-American, and Jess A Bad Lil Cat drew the No. 6 post.
Jess A Bad Lil Cat is trained by David M. Gomez-Barraza and owned by Scott Branson and Jimmy Vasquez.
Tempting Lu is trained by Omar Vargas and owned by AA Farms LLC.
