A man was taken into custody for questioning in connection with the "suspicious" death of a woman at a South-Central El Paso home, authorities said.
El Paso Police Department officers responded to a 911 call regarding an unknown problem before 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in the 300 block of Cargill Street, when they found two people inside a home, police spokesman Officer Adrian Cisneros said.
A woman in her 60s was found dead inside the house, while a man in his 30s was detained under "suspicious circumstances" in connection with the woman's death, Cisneros said.
The names of the woman and man have not been released. No charges had been filed against the man, Cisneros said.

Paso police's Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the incident. No further information has been released.
