The Bradenton Police Department arrested 34-year-old Lindsey Gore on Sunday, Aug. 9, in connection with a hit-and-run that occurred the night before.
Bradenton Police said the incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of 14th Street West in Bradenton, where the victim was walking a bicycle across the street when he was struck.
Police stated that the suspect vehicle was a white Toyota 4Runner with damage to the front headlight.
Bradenton Police announced they identified Gore as the suspect and arrested her on Sunday morning in a 7:50 a.m. update to the original post.
Police say she is charged with hit-and-run causing serious bodily injury. BPD also recovered the suspect vehicle.
In the Sunday morning update, police state the victim
remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Bradenton Police updated the post again on Monday, Aug. 10 at 9:50 a.m., once again stating the victim remains in the hospital.
