IMG Academy football continues to work its way through the 2026 schedule, taking its undefeated 2026 record on a long road trip to the southeast suburbs of Indianapolis for a date with New Palestine football on Oct. 9.
The Ascenders slipped to No. 4 in the USA TODAY Super 25 national rankings after last week's 44-42 win over The St. James Performance Academy on Oct. 3. The Dragons are 5-2 and are coming off a loss to Roncalli, 20-6, in which New Palestine mustered only eight first downs over just 18-or-so minutes of possession.
This will be the penultimate road game for IMG, which has two more home dates after this -- on Oct. 16 and 31. Then, to wrap up the 2026 campaign, the Ascenders will take on fellow national powerhouse St. Frances Academy
in DMV on Nov. 13.
