IMG Academy 2027 guard Lucai Anderson has committed to play college basketball at Michigan, according to multiple reports.
Anderson is the No. 8 shooting guard in the 2027 recruiting class, No. 19 in the state of Florida and the 84th-best player in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.
The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Anderson is the brother of former Texas Tech guard Christian Anderson, who was a first-round pick by the Charlotte Hornets in this year's NBA draft.
Adam Finkelstein, 247Sports' director of recruiting, considers Anderson to be "a developmental guard, who has clear tools, but is still not nearly a finished product. The lefty has a high upside because of his overlap of perimeter size (following a late growth spurt), budding skill,
and playmaking ability."
Anderson is one of four players from IMG ranked among the top 20 players in Florida for the 2027 class. Jordan Page (No. 6) is committed to UConn, Josh Leonard (No. 9) is not committed and Malik Olajuwon (No. 15), the son of basketball legend Hakeem Olajuwon, is committed to SMU.
