The Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC) recently announced its 2026–27 signature event season, offering community members and local businesses several opportunities to come together in support of survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
From SPARCC’s signature gala and holiday luncheon to golf tournaments and its annual fashion show, the upcoming season features a variety of events that raise critical funds and awareness for SPARCC’s free and confidential programs and services.
SPARCC’s upcoming event season includes:
SPARCCle in Paradise Gala, Friday, Nov. 6, 6 p.m., Marie Selby Botanical Gardens: SPARCC’s signature fundraising event returns for an elegant evening in paradise featuring dinner, entertainment, auctions and opportunities
to support survivors and their children.
SPARCC Holiday Luncheon, Monday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m., Michael’s on East: A cherished holiday tradition bringing friends and supporters together to celebrate the season while giving back to the community.

“SPARCC’s events are made possible by an incredible community that continues to stand with survivors year after year,” said Mary Ellen Mancini, CFRE, vice president of philanthropy at SPARCC. “Our sponsors not only help make these events successful, but also help ensure that survivors and their children have access to the services and support they need, at no cost.”
Proceeds from SPARCC events help fund programs and services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence throughout Sarasota and DeSoto counties. SPARCC provides a 24-hour crisis helpline, emergency shelter, counseling, hospital response, court advocacy, legal services, economic empowerment, support groups, housing stability, community education and other wraparound services.
All programs and services are free and confidential.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 2026-27 season. Businesses, organizations and individuals can support one or multiple events, with a variety of sponsorship levels and recognition opportunities available.
