Today is another nationwide "No Kings Day of Action" with dozens of events planned across Florida.
Dubbed “No Kings: Vote Early,” organizers say these nonpartisan protests aim to emphasize the importance of voting early, making a voting plan and supporting election-protection efforts.
"No Kings: Vote Early is the next step of reclaiming our power after a year of mass mobilizations," the organization's website says. "Families across the country are struggling to afford groceries, gas, electric bills, and the everyday cost of getting by. The decisions made by those in power shape our lives, our communities, and our future."
Florida's mandatory early voting period for the upcoming midterm elections begins in less than two weeks, but exact early voting dates
vary by county.
