Costco recently revealed the official opening day of its long-awaited Camarillo warehouse location.

Construction continues at the Costco Wholesale warehouse at 431 W. Ventura Blvd. in Camarillo on Sept. 16, 2026. The location is slated to open on Oct. 30, 2026.

"This is an important achievement for the Camarillo community," said City Manager Greg Ramirez. "The new warehouse will offer greater convenience for local shoppers, support economic activity in Camarillo and create meaningful job opportunities. It represents a significant moment for our city."

Construction on the warehouse at 431 W. Ventura Blvd. started in 2025, with the gas station welcoming drivers on May 1.

Since the gas station crews began erecting the walls of the future warehouse, the progress has been visible to Highway 101 commuters driving in or out of the city.
