Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents crashed into multiple vehicles while conducting an operation in Simi Valley on Sept. 29.
ICE notified the Simi Valley Police Department around 9:30 a.m. that they had arrested someone and had been involved in several traffic collisions, according to a police department news release.
Police responded to Hubbard Street near Los Angeles Avenue to investigate two separate collisions involving ICE and parked vehicles, police said.
Two ICE agents driving vehicles had crashed into two separate parked vehicles about 40 yards away from each other, said police Sgt. Joshua McAlister. One crash involved an occupied motorhome.
The federal agents contacted Simi Valley police following the crash and did not stay to contact the vehicle
owners, McAlister said. No citations were issued to the agents involved, he added.
No injuries were reported, and the police department is investigating the crashes, officials said.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond for comment on the crashes.
This pair of crashes is not the first time federal agents have been involved in crashes in Simi Valley. An ICE agent crashed his vehicle into a home in the 4000 block of Deborah Street during an immigration arrest on Sept. 5, 2025.
