Authorities are investigating the deaths of a Thousand Oaks man and woman Sept. 21.
Deputies with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office were called to Lucas Court around 11:15 a.m. for a well being check, said Capt. Chris Zapata. The street lies in the Newbury Park neighborhood of Thousand Oaks.
Deputies forced their way into the home and found a deceased man and woman, he said. Zapata did not know the ages of the man and woman.
Investigators with the major crimes unit responded and stayed at the home for several hours.
The captain said the incident was believed to be isolated. There was no threat to the public.
Zapata did not know who called in the well being check or if any weapons were found.
