As the Nov. 3 general election nears and ballots get sent to voters, The Star is working on stories to help readers make an informed decision.
In coming weeks, we'll be posting stories on local candidates, measures and news you can use as you head to the voting center or mail your ballot.
Ballots were mailed Oct. 5 to Ventura County voters. Residents have until Oct. 19 to register to vote. After that, voters can cast provisional ballots in person at a county vote center.
