Authorities identified the man who died following a motorcycle crash in Camarillo on Aug. 10.
Jim Foster, 69, was from Camarillo, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office. He died of multiple, blunt-force injuries and his death was ruled an accident.
Foster was found lying on the center divider near the 6000 block of Santa Rosa Road around 7:35 p.m. with his motorcycle close by, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office previously said.
Deputies administered first aid until paramedics arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff's office is investigating the crash and has requested that anyone with information call Senior Deputy Bradley Bordon at 805-388-5146.
