Dubbed the Buena Fire, the blaze was reported shortly after 5 p.m. in the 14000 block of Yerba Buena Road
, in the Santa Monica Mountains near the border of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. The fire had burned an estimated 3 to 5 acres, according to the first units at the location.An evacuation warning was issued for an around Carlisle Road, south of Morvale Drive. Aircraft and engines had responded to the fire. Authorities were calling for a closure on Yerba Buena Road in the area of the blaze, according to radio traffic.
