A Ventura County Pride festival in Ventura, a Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks tribute concert in Westlake Village and a classic car show in Oxnard are among three free outdoor events scheduled this weekend.
First up is the Ventura County Pride Festival, themed "Here To Stay," on July 25 at Plaza Park in Ventura.
Also on July 25, the band Petty or Not will perform a free tribute concert at Berniece Bennett Park in Westlake Village.
Rounding out the weekend is the Summer Classic Car Show on July 26 along a stretch of A Street in Oxnard.
Ventura
The Ventura County Pride Festival, featuring a vendor market, food trucks, and music and dance performances, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 25 at Plaza Park.
The event, which celebrates the LGBTQ community, supporters
and allies in Ventura County, also will feature drag performances and the MX Ventura County Pride Pageant.
Contestants in the pageant include Nairobi Royal Jeté, Brandi Tisci, Luz De Luna, Q-Bie and Matt D. Bonezawl.
The park is located at 651 E. Thompson Blvd.

Westlake Village
Petty or Not with Dahni Shaw of Twisted Gypsy, is scheduled to perform as part of the Saturdays in the Park concert series.
The event begins at 7 p.m. July 25, according to a news release. Food trucks will open at 6 p.m., and attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic dinners.
No chairs or tables will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.
Music trivia is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at the city's booth, where prizes will be awarded. A children's craft booth operated by Create Studio also will be available during the event, Kaitlyn Roush, community services manager for the city of Westlake Village, said in an email.

Oxnard
The car show, co-hosted by the Downtown Oxnard Improvement Association and the All-for-One Car Club, will feature hundreds of classic and specialty automobiles from multiple eras, according to a news release.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 26 in downtown Oxnard. DJs will provide music, and downtown restaurants and food vendors will offer specials.
Free parking will be available on adjacent streets, in public lots and at the 3rd Street Parking Structure.
