The Dallas Cowboys return to River Ridge Fields July 29 to Aug. 18.
The team arrives for its 47th training camp in Ventura County and 20th in Oxnard under owner Jerry Jones.
"Oxnard has become a cherished
part of our team's preseason tradition over the past two decades,” Jones said in a statement.
When is the Cowboys Fan Night in Oxnard?
Visit Oxnard will host its fifth annual Fan Night, featuring the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and mascot Rowdy, at The Collection at RiverPark on July 31. The nonprofit Visit Oxnard is overseen by the Oxnard Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Super Bowl champions Charles Haley and Nate Newton are scheduled to sign autographs.
The free event, which will include trivia, giveaways and live entertainment, begins at 4 p.m.
When are the Cowboys' free practices?
Free, open practices are scheduled for July 29 and 30, Aug. 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14 and 17.
VIP fan experiences can be purchased on Seatgeek. Sideline access starts at $20. Entrance to the Yaamava Hospitality Deck, with shaded seating along the south sideline, starts at $100 and rises to $150 for weekends and joint practice.
Fan experiences include entrance to the fields 30 minutes early.
Where do I park for Cowboys camp?
Parking at River Ridge Fields, located at 2501 Ventura Road in Oxnard.
The cost is $20 per day for small vehicles and $40 for large vehicles. Only cash is accepted.
What else will the Cowboys do in Oxnard, beyond?
The Cowboys Back Together event, which includes the pomp and circumstance of the opening ceremony, is Aug. 1.
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders dance clinic is Aug. 2, at Rio Mesa High.
The team will host NFL FLAG training camp, a skills camp for children ages 6 to 13. The new event is set for Aug. 5 at 11:30 a.m.
The Cowboys will honor military, first responders and healthcare workers during Heroes Appreciation Day on Thursday, Aug. 6.
Training camp will close with perhaps the biggest day of the team’s preseason in Oxnard, a joint practice with the New Orleans Saints Aug. 18.
The Cowboys will also visit the Los Angeles Rams for a joint practice in Woodland Hills on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Is there any Ventura County talent on the Cowboys?
Two locals are on the roster as training camp approaches. Punter Bryan Anger, a two-time Pro Bowler, is a 15-year veteran from Camarillo High.
Defensive tackle Jay Toia, a 2025 seventh-round draft pick from Grace School in Simi Valley and UCLA, is beginning his second season.
