Check out three free, family friendly events across the region this weekend, including a festival in Oxnard as well as parades and more in Moorpark and Agoura Hills.
Each of the events offers its own brand of food, live music and plenty of fun for young and old.
The multicultural festival, featuring food, dance and music, will be Oct. 3 at Oxnard's Plaza Park.
Moorpark Country Days will kick off with a parade and conclude with a street fair and live entertainment in Moorpark Oct. 3.
The Reyes Adobe Days Festival, featuring a parade, live music and more, runs Oct. 3-4 in Agoura Hills.
Oxnard hosts annual multicultural fest
The multicultural festival will run run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 3 at Plaza Park, 500 S. C St. in Oxnard and will feature about 80 vendors, said Martha Guillen,
festival chair and executive staff member to Oxnard Mayor Luis Mc Arthur and the City Council.
Vendors will include nonprofits, arts and crafts groups, volunteers staffing international booths and food trucks, she said.
Food options include tamales, pupusas, lumpia, hamburgers and vegan options.
Oxnard hip-hop artist Young Quicks, who is known for the song “Oxnard,” will perform a short set. He is scheduled to perform at 12:40 p.m., Guillen said.
Oxnard-based group Los Cool Arrows, who perform a mix of musical styles, is set to headline around 2:30 p.m.
The event, which also includes a classic car show, was not held last year because of the July 2025 immigration raid at Glass House Farms near Camarillo, Guillen said.
“Even though it happened in Camarillo, it did affect a lot of people in the Oxnard community and even other incidents that were happening,” she said. “It was just not the time to put on.”

Moorpark offers Country Days
Moorpark Country Days will start with a parade featuring about 45 different entrants, said event co-chair Rayline Perez.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. Oct. 3 from Walnut Canyon Arts and Technology Magnet School at 280 Casey Road and proceeds to historic High Street, according to the event’s Facebook page.
The street fair and live entertainment on High Street will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
About 55 vendors will participate, including informational booths for youth sports organizations, product vendors and political campaigns, Perez said.
A couple of food vendors will be on-site, but the event will highlight restaurants along High Street, she said.
The 2026 Moorpark Little League 13U Intermediate 50/70 State Champions and the 1996 Moorpark Little League All-Star team that made it to the finals in memory of Joel Burchfield will be grand marshals for the event, she said.

Agoura Hills hosts Reyes Adobe Days
The Reyes Adobe Days Festival will feature a parade at 10 a.m. Oct. 3, starting at the intersection of Reyes Adobe and Lake Lindero roads and ending at Reyes Adobe Historical Site and Park, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive.
The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 at the site and adjacent park.
Live music, western-era children’s activities, including pony rides as well as food trucks and art vendors will be showcased.
Northern California progressive bluegrass band Caltucky is set to headline at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 3. Alameda-based bluegrass duo Crying Uncle is scheduled to take center stage at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 4.
Brittany Hope, a reporter from KNBC-TV News on Channel 4, is this year's grand marshal.
